This adapter setup allows for turbochargers to be mounted differently than the manifold orginially is designed for. Commonly used for larger turbochargers or internal wastegated turbochargers. Some manifold/turbocharger setups dont exactly fit in as planned and make contact with the firewall, engine block, and other obstructions in the engine bay. Use this adapter to help your setup fit properly without purchasing all new equipment!
